Hummus , Falafel & lavash 😍🥰✨💕🤩👩🍳

🌮🥙🧇🥗🍝Good FOOD = Good MOOD💓💃🏻🌈🌸🦋
On today’s menu of Quarantine-Dine is our soul food i.e. Hummus , Falafel and lavash!
This Mediterranean dish paired up with lavash can be a mini meze platter at home 🏠❤️
So, let’s get started 💃🏻🌈
INGREDIENTS
For HUMMUS (1 Bowl)
Chickpeas 2 cups (Boiled)
Tahini 1/2 cup
Olive oil 1/3 cup
Garlic 6-7 garlic cloves chopped
Lemon 1(large)
Salt to taste
Cumin powder 1 tbsp
Paprika 1 tbsp
Coriander 1/3 cup(chopped)
Ice water 1/3 cup
P.s.- Tahini can be made at home too.😍
1.White sesame seeds 1 cup
2. Olive oil 1/2 cup
~Roast the sesame seeds for 4-5 mins ~Blend it in a mixer for 2-3 mins, add olive oil And blend for 2 mins.
Your TAHINI is READY!💃🏻
For FALAFEL (6-8 pieces)
Chickpeas 1 cup(soaked in water overnight)
Garlic 5-6 chopped garlic cloves
Ginger 1tbsp(chopped)
Green chillies 2-3(chopped)
Onion 2(chopped)
Lemon 1 large
Salt to taste
Paprika 1 tbsp
Coriander 2 tbsp
For LAVASH (6-8 sticks)
Flour 1/2 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
White sesame seeds 2 tsp
Water 1/4cup
Olive oil 1/3 cup
HUMMUS😍😍💕💕
Take 1/2 cup Tahini, 6-7 chopped garlic cloves and BLEND! 4-5 mins Blend till the mixture gets thick.
Add iced water in between to get the mixture going/ when you see the tahini starts to get lumpy.
When the mixture gets CREAMY, add the lemon juice to it And blend again for 5-10 mins.
4. We will start to see the mixture is getting THICK & CREAMY , that’s when we will add 2 cups of boiled chickpeas And BLEND!(2-3 mins)
5. Add 1/3 cup Olive oil in between. And blend for another 2 mins.
6. Add Salt, paprika and cumin powder & coriander and blend again for 2-3 mins!
Your Hummus is Ready with just A blend !🌈🦋🥰
FALAFEL😍🥙
Take chickpeas and grind them in a blender.
Take the grinned chickpeas in a bowl, Add 5-6 chopped garlic, 1tbsp ginger, 2 chopped onion,1 tbsp paprika, 2-3 green chillies, 2 tbsp coriander, and salt to taste.
Make small balls out of it.
Fry them or bake them!😍
Your FALAFEL 🥙 is READY🥰😍🌈🦋
LAVASH👩🍳🤩❤️
Take 1/2 cup flour in a bowl, add 1 tsp sugar & salt & 2 tbsp olive oil.
Add water in 2-3 batches to make the dough. Make sure the dough is not too stick/ loose.
Knead the dough for 5-10mins and the roll it out.
Add a bit of water, sprinkle some sesame seeds & roll it out softly with the rolling pin so it sticks.
Cut the dough in triangle shape.
Take a microwave proof tray, Greece it with oil and at 200C bake it in microwave (convention mode) for 10-15 mins.
